JACKSON, MI – A Jackson business is again collecting gently used toys to benefit local charities.
The second-annual “Play it Forward” Toy Drive, from the Walton Insurance Group, is Dec. 30-Jan. 10. The business at 2929 Spring Arbor Road will accept used toys from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of New Year’s Day.
Games, books, stuffed animals, cars, trucks, dolls and more can be donated.
Walton Insurance Group is partnering in the toy drive with Cousino Restoration, a family owned and operated emergency response contracting business that will professionally clean all donated toys.
The toys will then be given to Jackson-area nonprofit groups who serve children and families in need.
Last year’s toy drive collected hundreds of toys, organizers said. For more information, see the event’s Facebook page.
